Advanced Course | $2500 + HST

The 2-month Advanced Course is designed for selected students who have completed foundational tattoo training and are ready to further develop their skills in a specific tattooing style or genre.

With guidance from experienced artists, students will focus on the genre they wish to pursue, strengthen their techniques, and develop a more specialised portfolio while preparing for the professional tattoo industry.

Upon completing the course, students will enter a 3-month studio placement at Tattoo People. This period allows students to gain further experience in a professional studio environment while giving both the student and our team an opportunity to evaluate whether they are a good fit for a long-term working relationship.

Students who successfully complete the placement and are considered a good fit may have the opportunity to join Tattoo People as Junior Artists.

  • Duration: 2 months (with an opportunity for 3 months of studio placement upon successful evaluation).

  • Eligibility: Selective admission for students who have completed foundational tattoo training.

  • a portfolio is required to assess applicants' potential, regardless of the volume or number of works. Please bring your portfolio to the in-person consultation to showcase your style and skills.

  • The Advanced course is 2 months plus 3 months of placement following course completion.

  • All supplies needed for the course will be provided by Tattoo People Academy, including needles, machines, ink, fake skin, and expendables.

  • Only students approved by mentors through an interview are eligible to enroll in the course.
