This 6-month beginner course provides comprehensive training in foundational tattooing skills, focusing on hygiene practices, equipment handling, and core techniques. Held twice a week, the course is structured to guide you through the essential steps of becoming a tattoo artist

Guided by experienced artists, you’ll spend the first 3 months developing your own unique style, followed by a 3-month placement opportunity at Tattoo People.

  • a portfolio is required to assess applicants' potential, regardless of the volume or number of works. Please bring your portfolio to the in-person consultation to showcase your style and skills.

  • Beginner course is a 3 month course that comes with a 3 month apprenticeship.

  • All supplies needed for the course will be provided by Tattoo People Academy, including needles, machines, ink, fake skin, and expendables.

  • Only students approved by mentors through an interview are eligible to enroll in the course.
